What is T3 Internet?

T3 Internet is an Internet connection providing high speed T3 bandwidth of 45Mbps delivered over fiber optic or coax cables. T3 Internet lines are used by businesses to provide reliable, dedicated T3 connection for internet access as well as other applications including email, file sharing, web hosting, data backup, video, or VPN access. A T3 circuit is superior to cable or DSL Internet access because it offers higher bandwidth speeds and a Service Level Agreement with guarantees on Internet T3 service, performance, uptime, and repair. A T3 connection can also be configured by a T3 provider to carry voice services since a T3 has a 28 T1 line capacity. Internet T3 lines are also known as a DS3 Line, T3 Line, or DS3 Circuit.
