DS3 Line Service is an Internet connection providing high speed DS3 bandwidth of 45Mbps delivered over fiber optic or coax cables. DS3 lines are used by businesses to provide reliable, dedicated DS3 connection for internet access as well as other applications including email, file sharing, web hosting, data backup, video, or VPN access. A DS3 line is superior to cable or DSL Internet access because it offers higher bandwidth speeds and a Service Level Agreement with guarantees on DS3 speed, performance, uptime, and repair. A DS3 connection can also be configured by a DS3 provider to carry voice services since a DS3 has a 28 T1 line capacity. DS3 lines are also known as an Internet DS3, T3 Line, or DS3 Circuit.
